This study of the twelve Minor Prophets covers the contributions of the authors as seen in the light of their times and ours. It includes a brief look at the historical background for each book and the unique characteristics of each book. It discusses the doctrines the prophets preached and the meaning and fulfillment of their major predictions. Timeless principles gleaned from the teachings of the prophets are applied to the lives of believers today.
If you are enrolled in this course for three credits, the third credit will be earned by completing a collateral reading assignment (CRA). This assignment is based on the two textbooks "Nahum–Malachi, Interpretation: A Bible Commentary for Teaching and Preaching" by Elizabeth Achtemeier and "Hosea–Micah, Interpretation: A Bible Commentary for Teaching and Preaching" by James Limburg.
